Benefits
Although you may be familiar with our pre-registration process as a participating coach, please
consider the following benefits of our web-based service to you as a Meet Director:
Participating schools control their own entry submissions and updates, which are automatically
maintained in our database - no record-keeping is required on your part! No lost entries!
You have immediate access to current counts of participants in each event by school. You
can see how many judges will be provided by participating schools. Also, you can view the number
of sections needed to accomodate your entries, helping you plan for the number of rooms
(or judges) that will be required.
You can provide online access to your invitation, legislation and bills, and other information about
your meet, through links on your meet's main web page. Maps and directions to your school are
automatically provided (courtesy of Google Maps). No more faxing or emailing to dozens of schools!
You can, on the Meet Director's page of our web site, perform various tasks, such as:
Control the maximum number of entries in each event (per school or for the entire meet). Schools will
only be allowed to pre-register entries in an amount that will not exceed your limits.
Print summaries of event entries and school information.
View the history of all pre-registration submissions and updates.
Create a mailing list of all pre-registered schools.
Automatically print invoices and filled-in final registration forms for each pre-registered school.

Automatically schedule a round, and print posting sheets and filled-in judges' cover sheets - each with one click.
Enter scores in a simple way.
Automatically determine finalists, as well as the final results and place of all competitors - with one click.
And, of course, the prestige of having your meet listed on Speechmeets.com!
What is required to get my meet listed and managed on Speechmeets.com?
It's easy! Just send your meet's invitation (in Word, text, or Acrobat/pdf format) to
speech@Speechmeets.com. This should include the "who, what, when, and
where" of your meet, as well as the list of events, fees, and
limits on entries. You may also send images (such as school logos or mascots), in electronic format,
that can be used to represent your meet. The web
site for your meet will be available in a short time (usually within a day or two). You will be under no
obligation, and may have your meet's web site removed from Speechmeets.com at any time you wish.
Fees
The suggested fee is $3.00 for each school that pre-registers for your meet.
However, you must be completely satisfied and comfortable with your payment!
You may pay any amount you feel is appropriate and affordable!
